Befriending Service

Providing companionship, emotional support, and meaningful connection to those experiencing loneliness or social isolation in West London.

What is Befriending?

Our Befriending Service connects individuals who are experiencing loneliness, isolation, or reduced social connection with trained, compassionate volunteers who provide regular friendly contact and emotional support.

Loneliness can affect anyone, regardless of age or circumstance. Whether you’re recovering from illness, adjusting to life changes, or simply missing meaningful social connection, our befriending volunteers are here to provide companionship and a listening ear.

Through phone calls, video chats, or in-person visits, befrienders help individuals feel valued, heard, and connected to their community. It’s about building genuine friendships that make a real difference.

Who Can Benefit?
